We’re thrilled to announce that the 25th annual Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival is happening March 26–30, 2025, at the Capawock Theatre in Vineyard Haven and the Grange Hall in West Tisbury!
CELEBRATING 25 INCREDIBLE YEARS…
For 25 years, the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival has been more than just a film festival—it’s been a gathering place for stories, creativity, and community. From humble beginnings to becoming the Island’s favorite winter event, the MVFF has welcomed filmmakers, artists, and audiences from around the world, all coming together to share the magic of cinema.
It all started in the winter of 2001, when Thomas Bena and a group of friends, yearning for great films, transformed the Grange Hall, in West Tisbury, into a vibrant space for storytelling. The first MVFF laid the foundation for a beloved Island tradition. Over the years, the festival expanded, finding a home at the Chilmark Community Center and becoming a much-anticipated event.
Now, 25 years later, we return to our roots at the Grange Hall, under the leadership of Circuit Arts and celebrating the community and creativity that have defined us since the beginning. This milestone is a celebration of you—our incredible supporters and attendees. Your enthusiasm and belief in the power of storytelling have made this journey possible.
