Dir. Dori Berinstein | Documentary | U.S.A. | 2024 | 1 hr. 38 min.

Followed by a discussion with director Dori Berinstein and film subject Kenneth Cole

With heart, soul, and unflinching determination, New York fashion designer and activist Kenneth Cole has put cause before commerce for 40 years, igniting social awareness and change. An homage by the Emmy and Tony-winning director and producer Dori Berinstein, this film illustrates how Cole’s life, career, and advocacy—for AIDS, homelessness, LGBTQIA+ rights, civil liberties, and now mental health—have given voice to the voiceless, defied and shattered stigmas, provoked conversation, and built coalitions.

After the screening and discussion, join us for the MVFF’s 25th-anniversary celebration downstairs!
