Fresh from this year’s Sundance Film Festival, this documentary examines the life of Leonard Peltier, the activist who has been incarcerated for 50 years. Through archival footage and insights from other key figures in the American Indian Movement, the film explores the 1975 Pine Ridge shootout, the FBI actions leading to Peltier’s contested trial, and the ongoing fight to secure his release. Framing his story within centuries of Indigenous resistance, it highlights his resilience and Native peoples’ broader struggles for justice and sovereignty.
Tickets for these screenings are general-admission and pay-what-you-can. The suggested ticket price is $20. If you can pay more, we greatly appreciate it!
