Dir. Alysa Nahmias | Documentary | U.S.A. | 2026 | 1 hr. 31 min.

Followed by a discussion with director Alysa Nahmias and film subjects who are members of the Girl Scouts of America; filmmaker Dawn Porter will moderate on Saturday, and Brooke Hardman Ditchfield, director of the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse, will do so on Sunday

This joyful, heartwarming, and genuinely sweet documentary follows four young girls—Ara, Nikki, Olive, and Shannon Elizabeth—throughout the highly competitive season when they each try to sell the most Girl Scout cookies and be crowned “Cookie Queen.” Premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, and soon headed to SXSW, this uplifting film not only highlights the scouts’ tenacity and ability to thrive, but also the time and financial sacrifices they and their families make in order to meet their goals each year. Focusing on their individual experiences, the film offers a sincere yet playful look into what has become an 800-million-dollar business powered by legions of enterprising American girls.

Tickets for these screenings are general-admission and pay-what-you-can.
The suggested ticket price is $20. If you can pay more, we greatly appreciate it!
