FESTIVAL INFO

Welcome to the 24th annual Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival!

This year’s program reflects the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival's mission to connect the arts with the Island community. Each film in our lineup explores the complex relationship between individuals and their communities, demonstrating the power of this dynamic and its effects on humanity. This theme underscores the importance of community engagement and how, in turn, it shapes our personal narratives. Join us March 20–24 to experience stories from across the world and by filmmakers from our very own shores, celebrating how art can inspire, challenge, and even heal us.

We’re so excited to see you!

TICKETS

Tickets are now on sale! Purchase them ahead of time, on our website, or by calling (508) 560-2134.

  • No need to print your tickets! We will have your name at the door of each film screening or performance for which you purchased tickets.

  • All ticket holders must be at the screening venues no later than 10 minutes prior to the start of each show, or risk losing their seats to people on the waitlist.

During the festival, tickets may also be purchased at the box offices at each festival venue. They will be open starting one hour before the first screening at each venue.

WAITLIST

Sometimes screenings are “sold out” online, but most of the time not every ticket holder shows up. Swing by our venues before screening begins, and check in with our on-site venue managers to see if there is room.

We will do our best to get you in!

LOCATION & PARKING

The Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival is in four venues in three towns: our newly renovated theater at the Grange Hall, at 1067 State Road in West Tisbury; the Strand Theatre MV, at Oak Bluffs Avenue in Oak Bluffs; the Capawock Theatre, at 43 Main Street in Vineyard Haven; and the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center (PAC), at 100 Edgartown Road in Oak Bluffs. Free parking is available at the Grange Hall. In Vineyard Haven, public parking is available on Main Street and at the Tisbury town lot next to Stop & Shop. In Oak Bluffs, public parking is available along the harbor and on Circuit Avenue. Festivalgoers are encouraged to take the local (and currently free) VTA buses or to bike instead, in consideration of impact to our environment. Bus routes #1, #2, #3, and #13 connect the festival venues, with stops at the West Tisbury Town Hall, the Steamship Authority terminal in Vineyard Haven, Ocean Park in Oak Bluffs, and the Skate Shelter (near the PAC) in Oak Bluffs.
