A SPECIAL NIGHT AT THE PAC:
PRIME MINISTER
with the RT. HON. DAME JACINDA ARDERN

FRIDAY, MARCH 28 | 7:45 PM
THE MARTHA’S VINEYARD PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

We are honored to welcome the film subject, the Rt. Hon. Dame Jacinda Ardern, and director Lindsay Utz, for a special post-screening discussion moderated by filmmaker Dawn Porter

ABOUT THE FILM

The Right Honorable Dame Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand's 40th prime minister, led her nation through extraordinary challenges, including the Christchurch mosque shootings and the Covid-19 pandemic. She implemented bold policies, such as decriminalizing abortion and extending paid parental leave, and became only the second elected leader in history to give birth while in office. Inclusive and empathetic, her leadership reshaped global expectations of effective governance. Featuring footage shot by her husband, and never-before-heard audio interviews, this Sundance-winning film examines her life during and after those five years in power.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear from one of the world’s most inspiring leaders.

Tickets for this event are $25 each.

25 YEARS OF MOVIES

The Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival is produced by Circuit Arts

In 2022, we renamed our organization in recognition of the wide range of ways we have served the Vineyard community in over two decades of operation. We wanted to embrace a broader mission, celebrate the work of our multidisciplinary team of artists, and focus on making world-class arts and culture accessible on Island.

We determined that
Circuit Arts would be the name of the umbrella nonprofit organization that produces all of our endeavors, including the annual Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival and Summer Film Series at the Grange Hall, the Vineyard’s Drive-In at the YMCA, our film production company Circuit Films, Martha’s Vineyard Children’s Theater Camp, and film screenings and arts education programs around the Vineyard.
