Each Monday over the summer students ages 8 and up created a film at our filmmaking workshops. Each film had a theme and focused on a different aspect of filmmaking.
HELLO KITTY GETS A JOB
On July 9 students wrote and shot a short film. They used pre-assigned props and in-camera effects focused on the theme of inclusion.
CHANGE THE CHANNEL
On July 16 students wrote, shot, and edited a film with the theme of sound and music. Each student wrote and directed a section of the film.
On July 23 students wrote, shot, and edited a film using a green screen and their epic imaginations.
AN AMERICAN HERO
On July 30 students used stop motion to create an action adventure story.
On August 6 students created a documentary asking kids and adults "what does it mean to be brave?"
