Sample Day of Camp

The Martha's Vineyard Film Festival's Filmmaking Camp is a unique program in which students learn from the environment and culture of the Island while getting hands-on filmmaking experience.

Each two-week session will cover the basics of stop-motion animation, green screen/special effects, live-action shorts and documentary, and more. There will be all-ages activities daily, as well as opportunities for children to work in their age groups.

Students will be able to work together to make small projects, play, and reflect. At the end of every two-week session there will also be a screening of their work.

Cinema Circus is a fun and exciting event held every Wednesday from July 5 through August 16 (except August 2). There are fun activities, a live performance, and screenings of short films. Campers are encouraged to stay and participate in the fun.
